So the question today is how to get you notice with your headshot in a job search.
First impressions count.
We make a Swift split second decision on people. We meet, whether they be online or whether they be in person, your visual appeal, your apparel, you’ll look account for a lot when you enter a job search. So do yourself a favor, make sure that you are always professional eye professional picture on your profiles is very, very important.
Also make sure it’s not 10 or 15 years out of date.
We don’t hire out of date people. They are looking for something within the last one or two years. So do yourself a favor every few years, or every couple of years have a new headshot. So when you have your picture taken all, you’re doing a video and I will suggest you consider maybe thinking about videos to advertise, to market yourself. What are your skillsets?
Make sure you look into the lens and be highly professional.
Be sensitive to your body language. Don’t Flay your arms around all over the place or your head knocking or whatever. You only have one chance to make that first impression. It’s a split-second impression.
