So the question today is there are no jobs for my skill sets. I beg to differ as a career coach who has been through three recessions. I know there are jobs for you right now, but it’s just like finding a needle in a haystack in good times, that needle was big.
It was like a knitting needle, but now in bad times, it’s tiny. It’s a very, very small needle.
You need to take advantage of all the tools, the tricks out there to utilize the internet, networking, your friends, your acquaintances, and executive recruiters who are still recruiting. You broaden your horizons and look not just on adverts, because another video talking about why you shouldn’t concentrate, just looking on job boards, you need to get out there and look at the big job. Search will be the hundred percent job such wheel, which encompasses only add bullets and then very small executive recruiters and the hidden job market.
I suggest that you spend a lot of your time trying to find hidden jobs. So go and look at the companies that you would like to go work for. They may need your skillset and then market yourself to the person who would be your boss or your boss’s boss. At that particular company. This is going to be a while away many, many hours of job, such time its research, it’s just pointless and sending 1,018 resumes out. Whereas 18 targeted resumes can bring you more rewards.
